S’woodfest is Back

Come enjoy Southwood’s own version of Oktoberfest starting at 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at the annual Swoodfest! This is a wonderful opportunity to visit, play lawn games and enjoy a great meal! There’s lots of room for kids to run and play and have lots of family fun.
Hot dogs and bratwurst, buns, condiments, iced tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to add to the feast! Additional beverages (including beer and wine), lawn chairs, picnic blankets and lawn games are also welcome.
In the event of rain, Swoodfest will be moved to the Southwood fellowship hall. If you have questions, contact Pastor Michael at (816) 645-9557.
